Save the date for the Byron College Fair. Date: Thursday, September 24 Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m. Location: Byron High School Gym Representatives from numerous colleges and universities will be available to answer questions and help students explore college and career options. Open to students and families from: Byron High School Oregon High School Stillman Valley High School A complete list of participating colleges and universities will be announced soon. The flyer features Byron High School's black and orange school colors with college-themed graphics including campus buildings, books, a graduation cap, a notebook with the words "Explore. Connect. Plan. Succeed.," and a pennant reading "Your Future Awaits." A banner at the top and bottom notes that more information and the list of participating colleges are coming soon.

Flyer for 2026–2027 Byron High School Financial Aid & College Planning Night. Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2026 Time: 5:30–7:00 p.m. Location: Byron High School Theater 5:30–6:15 p.m. – College Planning presented by Amber Swanson. Topics include the college planning timeline, application process, finding the right college fit, differences between two-year and four-year schools, and additional college planning resources. 6:15–7:00 p.m. – Financial Aid presented by Rock Valley College and ISAC. Topics include the financial aid process, public and private funding sources, completing the FAFSA (available October 1), and student loans. Both sessions take place in the BHS Theater. Thank you to Mrs. Bukoski for organizing a food drive in December. The 7th graders at BMS collected items for the BHS food pantry as part of an incentive to receive Tiger Tickets to be used at their PBIS Auction in December. Each pantry item earned them a ticket to be used at the auction! 7th graders were excited to get tickets, but just as excited to help the food pantry!

Free dental clinic at Mary Morgan Elementary School on March 4, 2026
The Byron K-Kids recently held their Annual “Fill the Bags” Food Drive to benefit the Byron School Pantry. The club provides 5th-grade students with opportunities to make friends, build skills, serve their community, and grow as young leaders.
This year, our 5th-grade class helped support the Byron School Pantry by collecting donations and contributing to this amazing program. Students gathered personal hygiene items, toiletries, and non-perishable food items to help families in need.
