2024-2025 BMS yearbooks are on sale NOW for $25 (cash or check made payable to BMS) in the office (if you did not purchase one at registration). Yearbooks will be passed out in early August. Any questions, see Mrs. Bukoski.

The District Art Show is THIS Thursday, May 8th from 4:30-7:30 in the high school gym. All students in art class this year will have at least one piece of art on display. See you there!
Byron Park District will be hosting a BMS cheerleading clinic on May 7th and 8th. Please see the office for a flyer & register online through the park district website. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in trying out for BMS cheerleading next school year.
The next Outdoor Adventure Club trip is the famous WHITE WATER RAFT TRIP to Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin! Bus leaves Tuesday May 20th at 4:00 and will return Thursday, May 22nd at 2:30 p.m. Registration forms are available in the office. Completed forms and money are due by the end of the day Monday, May 12th, 2025.
6th & 7th Graders: BMS 7th & 8th Grade Cheer Tryouts for next year will be May 13th – 15th. Open gyms will be May 13th – 14th from 6:15-7:30 AM in the BMS gym. Tryouts will be on May 15th 6:30-7:30 in the BMS gym. Please sign up in the office. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Free.
Any 8th Grader Interested in Playing Football in the Fall: There will be an informational meeting in the HS Commons on Wednesday, May 14th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.
The final FFA meeting is scheduled for May 19th 3-4:00. All students are welcome. We will be discussing summer section fair which is on July 23rd and the summer horse show which is on August 6th.
Mark your calendar: 8th grade promotion will be Thursday, May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Byron High School Gymnasium. That will also be the last day of school for 8th graders, and they will be dismissed early.
Calling all leaders!!!! Mrs. Heather has information about summer leadership camp for 6th and 7th graders. This camp is held June 22nd thru 28th. We would love to send several leaders this year!!
