Veterans Day Celebration

Byron High School invites local veterans and community members to our all-school Veterans Day assembly on Wednesday, November 11, at 10:00 a.m.

Students and staff are preparing a special program to honor those who have served our country. The assembly will include recognition of all veterans in attendance, performances by the BHS band and choir, a flag-folding ceremony explaining the meaning of the American flag’s 13 folds, and remarks from a special guest speaker.

The program will last approximately 50 minutes. Guests should enter through the high school’s main circle drive entrance. Refreshments will be served to veterans in the Commons following the assembly.

We look forward to coming together as a community to honor and thank our veterans.
