The Byron FFA competed in the Super Saturday State Judging contests this past weekend held at the University of Illinois.  Byron qualified 3 teams for this. 

The Meat Judging Team took 8th.  For this students had to perform quality and yield grade assessments, judge carcass classes and Identify retail cuts.  Individuals were Olivia Ebens 26th, Renee Gehrke 27th, Wyatt Atkinson 39th and Isaac Charbonneau 75th. 

The Agronomy Team took 23rd.  For this students had to perform a soil practicum, judge rings of crops and Identify crops and weeds.  Individuals were Alex Buseski 68th, Kendra Jackson 82nd, Megan Jackson 89th, and Gunnar Shank 92nd. 

The Dairy Products Team took 12th.  For this students had to Identify cheeses, perform a Mastitis Test, and Grade Milk defects.  Individuals were Grace Whitmer 22nd, Keagan Swanson 37th, and Alex Cassens 70th.
