On Friday, October 13th, 2023 during Senior night at the Football game we honored some very special Byron High School students. Last spring, like all juniors across the State of Illinois, our students participated in taking the SAT examination. Each of these students performed at a tremendously high level on this rigorous exam. In fact, these students' scores rank in the top 20th percentile of all SAT tests taken by students across the country.

 

Our teachers and staff should also be congratulated for this accomplishment. This assessment, which measures Career and College Readiness, is an indicator of the quality of teacher performance in the Byron Community Unit School District. Much time and effort has gone into aligning curriculum and preparing students to be successful in and out of the classroom. We are proud to share a few of our impressive students her at Byron High School. Abigail Baker, Maison Brandt, Aiden Carby, Emily Dahlstrom, Taryn Dolan, Xelda Druien, Brianna Fish, Andrew Freedlund, Maverick Galster, Carter Groharing, Madison Groharing, Jack Lancaste, Conner Lee, Reese Little, Kevin Maldonado, Nova Rakowski, Fynn Remhof, Wyatt Swanson, Ayden Tesoro, Jacob Tidwell, and Jericho Wilde.
